Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha – Jaya Krishna Goit (JTMM-G):-
Formation:-
The Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM) was formed in July 2004 by Jaya Krishna Goit after splitting from the Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist (CPN-Maoist). Goit, formerly a leader of the Unified Marxist Leninist (UML), was also co-ordinator of the Madhesi National Liberation Front of the CPN-Maoist. Gradually, as he came to believe that the Maoists were not serious about the development of the Terai region, he floated a separate outfit charging the Maoist leadership of betraying the Madhesi people.
Objective:-
JTMMM-G demands an independent state for the Madhesis in the Terai region. He believes that Terai was never a part of Nepal; rather it was annexed by the Nepali pahade (hill people) rulers and then parts of it were ceded to them by the British through treaties. Thus, he says that, his armed struggle is meant to correct the historical wrong committed by the Nepali rulers.
Leadership and Command Structure:-
JTMM-G is led by its founder Jaya Krishna Goit. The cadre strength of the JTMM-G remains difficult to estimate, though unconfirmed reports suggest a support base of a thousand, including hard-core cadres and sympathisers. The Goit faction functions with a central committee, East and West Terai Regional Bureaus, village, ward and cell committees and a parallel military organisation.
Areas of Activity:-
The JTMM-G is mainly active in the Terai region bordering India, particularly, in the districts of Siraha, Dhanusha, Morang, Sarlahi, Bara, Saptari, Mohattari, Lalitpur and Rautahat.

MJF not joining Maoist-led government: Yadav
Chairman of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) Upendra Yadav has termed as baseless claims that his party is joining a Maoist-led government, saying that the party does not have the "people's mandate" for it.
This remark by the MJF strongman comes a day after senior Maoist leader Dr. Baburam Bhattarai affirmed at a program in Birgunj on Friday that the CPN (Maoist) is forming a coalition government by joining hands with all Madhesi parties, including the MJF.
"Madhesi Janadhikar Forum does not have the people's mandate to join the government," Yadav told Kantipur Daily Saturday, "I don't know on what basis Baburam ji (Dr Baburam Bhattarai) made this remark but there has not been any discussion on the possibility of joining the government."
Stating that MJF hasn't yet decided on whether they would participate in the government or not, Yadav said the party's policy is to raise the problems ailing Madhes while remaining in the opposition. Yadav also reiterated his demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala.
He said that the MJF couldn't possibly refrain from being a part of the government if all the national and regional political parties represented in the CA participate in it. MJF had called for a formation of a national government prior to the election.

Nepali congress(NC) and Madhesi (MJF) hold talks:-
Senior leaders of Nepali Congress (NC) and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) held talks on Saturday regarding the formation of next government, the forthcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) meeting and Madhesi issues.
The leaders met at parliamentary party office of NC in Singhdurbar.
NC leaders including acting president Sushil Koirala and vice president Ram Chandra Poudel met with MJF coordinator Upendra Yadav and leader Bijaya Gachhadar and Sarat Singh Bhandari.
The MJF leaders had, on Thursday, held meeting with the leader of Unified Marxist Leninist (UML).
The meeting has come in the wake of comments by NC and UML leaders that they would extend support to the formation of Maoist-led government only if the latter agrees to dissolve their parallel militant outfits besides fulfilling some other conditions.
Meanwhile, reports have said that MJF coordinator Yadav has ruled out the possibility of his party joining Maoist-led government. Maoist leader Dr. Baburam Bhattarai had earlier said that his party will form government by bringing on board Madhesi parties.
