Why kirat needs to celebrate Sakela and Chaybrung festivals?
Kirat Rai "Sakela" and Kirat Limbu "Chaybrung" dance are to celebrate kirati Festival and enjoy. Beside that these festival activities setup time for Unity, Communication and give attention or inform to kirat people for their ongoing and future activities.
People are involving in different activities for their lives if we can not get-to-gather, we can not have opportunities to express and communicate ourselves. So these kind of activates not only teach social and culture things.... but bring enjoy, peace and togetherness in kirat communities around the world.
Because you and I do not want to gather thousand people in our home yard… kirati people must be gathering and celebrate in specific places. These kinds of time and event must be happen and we must continue for it. We must utilize these events more positively and progressively.
We all kirati people, kirati leaders and kirati organization must know by now… We should do more creative things and utilize these events in more progressive way. Like (1) display and sale stall for kirati books, magazines, news, articles (2) sale stall for kirati authentic handicrafts, arts, clothes, goods etc (3) Sakela and Chaybrung Dance competition (4) Kirat organizational presentation about organization mission, vision, objective, activities and progress of past and future. (5) Donation collection for kirat social activities and developments. (6) Honor and give respectable recognize to those kirati people who did distinct social and political contribution toward kirat communities in Nepal or around the world etc. ...

Kirat Rai Yayokkha does organise the Udhauli and Ubhauli Celebrations. KRY Ktm organises it on the first saturday following the purnima. This year it was held in Tudikhel.
Books and magazines by various kirati writers/Organisations were available for intrested people to buy.
There were stalls that sold authentic kirati dress, binayo, murchunga and even kirati food like gundruk, kinema, sinki and some other materials.
There was a competition between various "sili" of the sakewa dance. It was judged on the basis of dress, Crowd, Continuity as judging on the actual "sili" is not possible.
Every branch of KRY as well as the Central Executive Committee presents it's progress/activities/financial report on the General Assembly.
Donations and Membership are the sole factors that keep the Organisation moving financially. The central committee recently purchased a house worth arround 15 million rupees. This was done with the help of donations.
Each branch honours it's senior citizen at the udhauli and ubhauli festival. Various Famous personalities are regularly honoured by the KRY association for their contributions.
so all in all what you've written is already in effect within the KRY. I am not too familiar with the rest of the other kirati organisation but i am sure they are already doing it too.

Preserving and Promoting Culture is the most important...
Culture is a key IDENTITY of kirat and indigenous people.. when culture dead and dissapear... we can not create new culture or revive culture. Even we try it, that new culture will be ARTIFICIAL and AKWARD.
When Culture, Religion, Laguage, Heritage and history died and dissapear..... Our kirat identity will die and dissapear... and we become meaningless human being...
In Nepali prover say "Na Ghar ko Na Ghat ko Manchey..."
