Rai, Limbu, Sunuwar, Yakkha (all) are same people by...

(1) Genetically

(2) Historically

But they are different because their majority population is behind, backward in

(1) Education

(2) Social and Political Awareness

For example, if you have great Lake of education and awareness, you will be behind and you take wrong because your mind, body, soul and vision will be wrong. You feel and believe that direction is right but mostly will not be right. That is key reason, people need a quality education.

Yes, I agree with Dev.

These all kirati tribes Rai, Limbu, Yakkha, Sunuwar, Magar, Gurung and Tharu were came from same root tribe in ancient time. Their key of bio genetics is same.

If you deeply study ancient and early med vial history of Nepal and kirat social, you will find out how sub kirat tribes establish (creation). In ancient time or Medieval times, Rich people, Head king of Head Chief used to marry lots of wives and used have as many as sons and daughters. When father or head king or head chief distribute his wealth and power to his offspring. He used to create or give a tribe name where his son will be another king belongs to that new tribe. This practice of tribe creation could have some identification, social, govern controlling and ruling benefits to that particular tribe people.

we were all kiratis at the begiinning. it is after the fall of kirat pradesh we have been name with rai..subba..dewan..or yakkha...if we look at the past we dont find any history abt limbu or rai or sunuwar or yakkha or dewan but we can find about kirats. the policy of divide and rue has touched us so deeply now that we want to creat more differenciation between us.
by any means there is no any differentciation between any of the kiratis despite some cultural coz of the geographysical distance. we all belive in nature..we all believe in mundhum...so its better not to as wat are the differences but why and how we became different at present.

I'm not sure about the date of Kirat Yakkha Chhumma's formation. In my memory, may be in 2058 B.S.; it was established. Yakkha used to call as "Yakkha Rai" like Chamling Rai, Bantawa Rai, Bahing Rai, Dumee Rai, Koyu Rai, Wambule Rai, Thulung Rai etc. All of Rais have different languages but similar to each others--caulturally also some different but as whole they're seemed same. Rai, Limbu and sunuwar, they are know as KIrat;however, their seperation is not clear in Kirat or Nepalese history--we can say long time ago, but we can find the real thing if we want to search...

My assertion is why are we dividing more and more at this time also...

Some stupid kirat divides because they have great lack of higher education, social and political awareness, Great lack of understanding and intelligency.

90% kirat people do not LISTEN to educated kirat people and do not respect own people.

Yes you can do....

Keep the rule...

(1) Never ever seek the difference between Kirat, all kirat are ONE.

(2) LISTEN other carefully, Try to understand fact & reality, Read newspapers, books and increase mental ability.

(3) Never ever try to get UPSET, MAD quick, Try to understand, Realize and approach gently and civilize way to express your view and opinion.

(4) Learn from past MISTAKE and never ever try to REPEAT same MISTAKE AGAIN.

(5) Try to be Wise, Civilize, Educated and CRUSADER to your kirat societies.

(6) Always think first KIRAT and to preserve, protect and promote Kirat UNITY & IDENTITY.

(7) RESPECT, HELP, SUPPORT & DO CONTRIBUTION TO KIRAT

If we all brush or clean-up your bad kully mentality, Attitude and behaviour, we will be UNITE and work together for our kirat communities and to uplift kirati people.

There is NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE. Look at that Who can think Heavy metal engine can FLY in the sky, but you can see infront of your eye there in heavy machine "Airplane" flying in the sky. It is real and reality. It is proved possible for anything.

To Suna : comment on Dated 26 th March'08 : We all Rai have differences because of our (stupidity ) : Though I am agree with your but little bit disagree. Your solutions given On 27 March'08 are very good. Here I would like to submit that the abovesaid stupidity is there in our Rai community because of lack of education. Education means not only the schooling or college education, it includes the family culture, traditions and social frabics. We learn what we see our elders do. We follow the same culture , tradition and continue to live in the same social frabrics and same thing we give to our next coming generation and the next generation will give it to their future generation. As such we are maintaining and carry forward the evils of the society. As you sow you will rip the same. What is the use of crying of having evils in our Rai community? Every Rai wish to eradicate the evils but only wish will not do. Short temperness, headweightness, drunkard habit, smoking, drug ediction, behaving in uncivilised manner, non cooperational behaviour, disrespect to the elders , aggressiveness etc. are there in Rai Community. As a heritage we are keeping with community, eventhough every individual knows well that this is unwarranted and wish that their children should keep away from these things. But matter of fact, the family head himself take liquor, smokes uses filthy language in front of his children as a routine , then this too becomes children's way of life. Nothing unusual since they are seeing such practices in the family right from the begining , in the surrounding , in the society.
To abolish these evils , we should shun the bad practices in the family. We should engage our children in education and teach them the family values, moral values. For that , the local community head can play a vital role for the society. These community head should explain about the positive and negetive things of the community.
In short , we should concentrate towards education as our prime mission so that there will not be even a single member inclulding girls members, illeterate in every the Rai family means hundred percent litteracy in the Rai community. This target we can achieve gradually and our next generation will not have such type of complaint in Rai community. Because education brings the ability to understand the differences between good thing and bad thing.
